MISSION

Born out of a passion for the food world but frustration with its many complexities, Raw Yolk is a collective of people working to bring about change. We aim to expand on existing conversations, drawing new insights from culture, politics, history, and the day-to-day experiences we share of working in the field we love (/hate).

Our collective mission is to build a community whose platform provides a collaborative and supportive environment for those wishing to participate in the evolution of the food world and the conversation. As industry professionals, we want to talk, write and do. We’ll discuss entrepreneurship and parenthood while supporting women- and  POC-owned businesses, talk disordered eating surrounded by foods that “comfort” us, host wine tastings while considering substance abuse, explore the gut-brain connection while starting ferments, and examine queer health and soil health while signing up for health insurance.
